Hollywood's actor Glen Powell stars in the darkly comedic film inspired by true events about a college professor who works undercover with the police by posing as a hitman to catch people who orders hits. Of course , things take a turn when he falls in love with a woman who hires him for a hit.

The Richard Linklater - directed film was very well received when it debuted at the Venice Film Festival .


Ultraman : Rising

Release date : June 14

Where: Netflix

With the successful animated film versions of popular "KAIJU GODZILLA" and "GAMERA" in their belt, Netflix is back with one of Japan's icons - Ultraman . The animated film is co - produced by Netflix animation and Tsuburaya Productions, with animation by Industrial Light & Magic .

The film is about a Japanese baseball player who has to balance his career and hero duties as Ultraman, all while caring for baby kaiju.


The Boy and the Heron

Release date: June 25

Where: PVOD

The 2024 Oscar award winning film for Best Animated feature finally makes its streaming debut on PVOD services like Apple TV , Rakuten, and more. The Boy and the Heron is said to be Hayao Miyazaki's final film (again) and is a surreal meditation on grief, legacy, and life.


Fancy Dance

Oscar nominated actress Lily Gladstone leads this complex family drama about a woman living on the Seneca Cayuga reservation in Oklahoma . The story follows her life as she looks for her missing sister while caring for her niece, with every turn of the search taking us deeper into the complexities of Indigenous women at the mercy of the justice system.

The Acolyte is the latest Star Wars streaming show that takes place in the final days of the high Republic era. A Padwan and her jodi master will investigate a series of crimes that'll lead them to more sinister forces than expected. Amanda Stenberg leads the show with notable cast members,

Sweet Tooth

Season three of Sweet Tooth will be the show's final season. We're heading into the freezing Arctic for the epic conclusion of the post apocalyptic adventures of the part deer boy Gus and his friends.

The final season will consist of eight episodes.


Transformers: Earth Spark

The fan favourite, Emmy winning series is back! Not much is known about the season at the time of writing, but we'd wager we'll see what happens with The Bear open to the public. Plus, star Jeremy Allen White confirmed that there will be more fast paced kitchen scenes this season, and he's preparing for them with some chefs!
